OUR 5 step journey

to better lighting control solutions

Plan. Design. Program.

Test. Care.

1. We Plan

  • Discovery & Assessment

    • Walk through your existing space or review architectural/engineering plans for a new build.

    • Discuss your goals for comfort, energy savings, integration, and user experience.

    • Identify any constraints (e.g., ceiling heights, control zones, network infrastructure).

  • Solution Definition

    • Determine the appropriate combination of luminaires, sensors, control panels, power supplies, and networking components.

    • Outline preliminary control strategies (scheduling, scene recall, daylight harvesting, zones).

    • Create a simple overview of system scope and expected budget range.

2. We Design

  • Detailed Drawings & Schematics

    • Update floor-plan layouts showing fixture locations, wiring routes, and device mounting points.

    • Provide panel schedules, circuit assignments, cable-routing diagrams (e.g., DALI lines, wireless diagrams, network points).

  • Technical Instructions

    • Specify DALI-2 compliance requirements (power budgets, device addressing, bus topology).

    • Document control-interface mappings (which switch or sensor triggers which zone, scene, or group).

    • Include integration notes for third-party systems (BMS, AV, or building automation), if required.

    • Provide ordering quantities, control gear, and approved alternates for all fixtures, drivers, sensors, switches, power supplies and accessories.

3. We Program

  • Post-Installation Configuration

    • Once the electrician has installed lights, sensors, and switches per our design, we upload firmware and initialize each DALI device.

    • Assign addresses to all ballasts, drivers, sensors, and control modules.

  • Control Logic & Scheduling

    • Create scenes, time-clock schedules, occupancy/drift strategies, and dynamic daylight-harvesting profiles.

    • Map user-friendly pushbuttons, touch panels, or mobile app controls to each zone, ensuring intuitive operation.

  • User Customization

    • Incorporate client-requested settings—minimum light levels for specific tasks, color-tuning sequences, emergency-override logic, or custom maintenance alerts.

4. We Test

  • Individual Device Verification

    • Confirm that each DALI-addressed drivers respond correctly to on/off/dim commands.

    • Verify sensor triggering (occupancy, daylight) in simulated conditions.

  • Group & Scene Validation

    • Exercise every control zone: switch on/off, recall scenes, adjust dim levels, and test fade times.

    • Test interlocks and fail-safe behaviors (e.g., emergency lighting override, blackout mode).

  • Integration & Network Checks

    • If integrated with BMS, fire alarms, or third-party systems, simulate events (e.g., fire-alarm signal) to confirm the correct relay of commands.

    • Validate network communication—ensure gateways, routers, and controllers maintain stable connectivity and time synchronization.

  • Client Walkthrough & Sign-Off

    • Conduct a joint inspection with your team, demonstrating each control element.

    • Provide written test reports and obtain final approval before project handoff.

5. We Care

  • Watch and Fix Remotely

    • We keep an eye on your system from our office. If a light or sensor stops working, we notice it quickly.

    • We can update software to keep your system up to date with the latest DALI-2 rules.

  • Help When You Need It

    • If you have a question or need a change, we’re just a call or message away.

    • We can talk you through how to use new features.

  • On-Site Visits

    • If something needs hands-on fixing, we come to your site. We check lights, clean sensors, and replace parts if needed.
